Kross and Kradle was born from my deep desire to protect, nourish, and do better for my child—especially when the options on the shelf just didn’t feel right. If you’re already a mom, currently trying, or expecting, this will probably feel familiar. So many of us have been put in positions where we’re asked to compromise what we believe is best for ourselves and our children. Somewhere along the way, it became normal for mothers to second-guess their God-given intuition. What should feel natural now feels confusing, and choosing differently can feel isolating. Quietly, this has become a kind of epidemic.
I experienced this firsthand with my own son. Being told that my breastfed infant's symptoms were “normal” while I watched him struggle with pain, fear, and chronic constipation was infuriating. Multiple doctor visits—both in person and virtually—left me at a crossroads. I refused to compromise what I felt was right, even as I was urged to give him a synthetic laxative that had never been studied in children his age and carried potential neurological risks.
With all the stress, uncertainty, and desperation to help, my breastfeeding journey came to a close around eight months, and I began supplementing with synthetic formula. But the ultra-processed, synthetic formulas on the market only created more confusion and worsened my son’s condition.
That experience sent me down a rabbit hole with even more determination—to figure out my son’s needs and create a gentle, whole-food milk made from ingredients found in nature, honoring the design and intention for how children are meant to be nourished. Kross and Kradle exists to take away that confusion and offer clarity, confidence, and relief for families everywhere. It’s a safe place for mothers—a place where it’s okay to question what we’ve been told for generations, to turn the page, and to look back to the nourishment God already created for us. “Their leaves will be for healing.” (Ezekiel 47:12)
